The Academy of Management 2016 Annual Meeting took place 5-9 August, 2016 in Anaheim, California, United States
The theme of the meeting was “Making Organizations Meaningful”.

There is no doubt that organizations play important role in the ways we live our lives, for better and for worse. Organizations enable us to be more efficient, to access goods and services faster than ever before, and to share information and experiences across the globe. However, not all organizations add social value as economic one. This raises the question of meaningfulness.
