The University of Zagreb (1669) is the oldest and biggest university in South-Eastern Europe. Ever since its foundation, the University has been continually growing and developing and now consists 29 faculties, three art academies and the Centre for Croatian Studies. With its comprehensive programmes and over 50,000 full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students the University is the strongest teaching institution in Croatia ranged among 400 - 500 best Universities in the world in the 2012 according Shanghai Ranking list.

It offers a wide range of academic degree courses leading to Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degrees in the following fields: Arts, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Engineering, Humanities, Natural and Social Sciences. it is also a strongly research-oriented institution, contributing with over 50 percent to the total research output of the country.

EFZGFaculty of Economics and Business, (FEB) was established in 1920, and is the oldest institution for higher education in economics and business in this part of Europe. FEB employs 378 academic and administrative from which 247 of research and teaching staff (among them 152 with PhD) who specialize in different disciplines of social science, such as macro - and microeconomics, economics of innovation, international economics, business management, marketing, finance, accounting, statistic, tourism, demography etc. The goal of the school is to train the next generations of the country's business and economic leaders. In this scenario and in order to promote the open innovation process The cooperation between FEB and corporate sector are based on education as well as scientific research and expertise and strengthen the link between institutions that generate new knowledge and search for new possibilities to share and distribute its knowledge. As we cannot support our ir research and development just in their internal capabilities. FEB embraced lifelong learning approach by organizing several postgraduate specialist study programs, postgraduate doctoral study programm, executive education and launching professional training courses.
At bachelor level FEB offer courses :Marketing innovation, Management innovation, International Entrepreneurship and open innovation and since two years ago as an result of the FoSentHE Tempus project on the MBA level we introduced courses: Innovative entrepreneurship and Technology transfer and open innovation.
